bajee Cricket Betting — BPL to T20 World Cup
bajee's sports betting platform makes every moment of cricket more meaningful. From before the first ball to the last — place bets across multiple markets including match winner, toss and top batsman.
Three Cricket Formats and Bangladeshis' Favourite Tournaments
T20, ODI and Test — each format has its own style of betting.
In Bangladesh, cricket is more than a sport — it is a matter of passion. From the lanes of Dhaka to the grounds, cricket is talked about everywhere. At bajee, you can bet alongside that passion across three different formats.
T20: The fastest format, where the situation can change every over. BPL and IPL are played in this format, making them extremely popular with Bangladeshi fans. T20 batting is aggressive, so markets stay more active.
ODI: The fifty-over format allows for greater strategic depth. ICC tournaments and bilateral series are played in this format. The Tigers have historically been strong in ODIs.
Test: The five-day format demands patience and analysis. Betting markets work a little differently here — pitch conditions, weather and team strength all come into the calculation.
Betting on Football and Other Sports
Alongside cricket, there are opportunities to bet on many other sports.
At bajee, you can bet not only on cricket but also on football and several other popular sports. The way betting works differs slightly across each sport.
Football has three possible outcomes — Team A wins, Team B wins, or a draw. In T20 and ODI cricket there are only two outcomes — one team wins. Because of this difference, football odds are structured slightly differently.
A draw is also possible in Test cricket, so it has a three-outcome market similar to football. This variety is what makes sports betting interesting.

7 Popular Betting Markets
A straightforward introduction to how to bet in each market.
Match Winner
The simplest and most common market — predict which of the two teams will win. T20 and ODI have two options; Test has three (Team A wins, Team B wins, draw).
Toss Betting
Bet on which team will win the toss before the match begins. This is a completely even-probability market and odds for both teams are generally similar.
Top Batsman
Bet on which batsman will score the most runs in an innings or across the full match. Team form and pitch conditions influence this bet.
Top Bowler
Bet on who will take the most wickets in an innings. Whether a spinner or a pacer will be effective depends on the pitch surface and weather.
Total Runs Over / Under
Predict whether the total runs in an innings or across the full match will be above (over) or below (under) a set number. For example, whether total runs in a T20 will exceed 330 — the answer becomes clearer as the match progresses.
Multi Bet (Multiple Selections)
Place bets on multiple matches at once for the chance of a larger return on combined odds. Example: three bets at decimal odds of 1.40, 1.60 and 1.90 give combined odds of 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.90 = approximately 4.26, meaning a ৳100 stake returns ৳426 — but only if all three selections are correct. If even one is wrong, the entire bet is lost.
Handicap Betting
To even out the contest between a strong and a weak team, one team is given a virtual advantage in runs or wickets. In this market, the count is not of specific runs or wickets — rather, it is about which way the final result falls after the handicap is applied.
A Simple Way to Understand Three Odds Formats
The same odds can be written in three different ways — understand them with examples.
The first step to getting into cricket betting is understanding odds. There are three main formats — decimal, fractional and American. All three express the same thing; only the way they are written differs.
Example 1 — The Same Odds in Three Formats
Say you place ৳1,000 on Team A to win. The odds can be written three ways: decimal 2.50 = fractional 3/2 = American +150. If you win, you get back ৳2,500 (৳1,500 profit + original ৳1,000); if you lose, ৳1,000 is gone.
Example 2 — Odds for the Favourite
Odds for Team B to win: decimal 1.80 = fractional 4/5 = American -125. A negative American odds figure means how much you need to stake to win ৳100. On a ৳1,000 bet, you get back ৳1,800 (৳800 profit).
The decimal format is the simplest — multiply the odds figure directly by the stake to get the total return. This is why decimal format is the default on most betting platforms in Bangladesh.
The figures above are examples only, to illustrate the formats. Actual odds vary by match and do not guarantee a win.
Live In-Play Betting During the Match
Odds shift when a wicket falls; after each over the picture changes.
Live betting is the most dynamic way to experience cricket. Once the match starts, odds change with every ball, every wicket, every six. With bajee's in-play betting, you can take part at each of those moments.
Say Team A makes a strong start in the first 10 overs of a T20 — Team A's win odds will shorten and Team B's will lengthen. If quick wickets fall in the middle overs, the picture can reverse. This constant change is what sets live betting apart.
The required run rate in the 50th over of an ODI, or the pitch condition on day three of a Test — this kind of information matters when making decisions in live betting. Keep in mind, though, that betting is always for entertainment.

Practical Tips for Cricket Betting
Betting is entertainment — enjoy it the right way.
Choose markets based on the format
High-scoring markets (over/under) work well in T20; match result is a more straightforward market in Test. Start with the format you know best.
CricketSet a budget before you play
Decide in advance how much you will spend on betting each day or week. Stay within that limit — do not place extra bets to recover losses.
Responsible PlayBuild skill in one market
Start by getting a good understanding of one or two markets (such as match winner or top batsman). Rather than spreading bets across many markets at once, develop depth in a few.
StrategyAvoid rushing in live betting
Odds move fast in in-play betting, but decisions should be made calmly. Placing large bets on impulse can lead to regret later.

Betting Exchange — How It Differs from Regular Betting
Not just betting on a win — you can also bet against a team losing.
In a traditional sportsbook, you always bet against the operator — if you win, they pay out; if they win, they take your stake. In a betting exchange, you bet directly against other bettors.
The exchange offers two options: BACK (betting that a team will win) and LAY (betting that a team will not win). Say you BACK Team A at decimal odds of 2.50 with ৳1,000 — if Team A wins, you profit ৳1,500 (before commission); if they do not win, you lose ৳1,000. If you LAY Team A, you are betting against them — for a ৳1,000 BACK bet, your liability is ৳1,500 (৳1,000 × 1.50); if Team A does not win, you receive ৳1,000, but if Team A wins, you pay ৳1,500.
Exchanges generally charge a small commission on winnings. Read the terms carefully before placing a bet.
